Cadet Colleges in Pakistan

Cadet Colleges are boarding school systems of the Pakistan Armed Forces those act as nursery schools for the officers’ training academies of the Pakistan Army, Air Force and Navy. There are a number of Cadet Colleges in Pakistan.

They are intended to prepare young students from a very broad range of cultural and linguistic backgrounds to pass the challenging physical, educational, psychological and behavioral test standards of the Inter Services Selection Board (ISSB).

Cadet Colleges are for all those civilian or non-civilian students who are aiming for a military career and they are physically fit to be selected in system.

Cadet colleges were first established by British in the subcontinent in the per-partition era.

Since the independence, the Pakistan Army, Navy and Air force have established many of these to train and nourish the future soldiers and responsible citizens, as not every cadet goes on to be an army officer.
